If you are intending to use it as a cleanser for your skin, ie. in the shower or a face wash, then you should purchase the skin cleanser since that is it's purpose.The solution is more for heavy duty cleansing ie. cleaning an open wound.The active ingredients are also different:Skin Cleanser: active ingredient: Providone-iodine 7.5%inactive ingredients: Inactive ingredients ammonium nonoxynol-4 sulfate, nonoxynol-9, purified water, sodium hydroxideSolution:active ingredients: Providone-Iodine 10%inactive ingredients: pareth 25-9, purified water, sodium hydroxide **Q: Based on reviews, it's good to control odor, but do you leave it on or rinse it?** A: Rinse **Q: Does this stain your skin, towel, or shower floor? Just got a new shower, would hate red stains on it.** A: It does not stain the tub and skin. I actually put mine in a pump bottle and it squirted on the side of my tub and i just wiped it off. No issues. Also does not stain the skin, it a soap and you rinse it off. Not sure about towels. **Q: Are you supposed to rub your face with this and then wash it off with water? Does it leave any orange/yellow stain?** A: I wouldn't wash my face with this. It's to disinfect hands, clean out wounds... etc and does not stain the skin when rinsed off completely.
