She liked the bright blue and big numbers for the time. I basically bought it for her so it would look "cool" since she can't speak English and I don't think she gets the whole "step counter" thing. I highly doubt she will use it to track her sleep too. Anyway, I have a Fitbit HR and this band is pretty functional and I would actually recommend it for people who want a fitness band that doesn't break the bank; you can always move up to a Fitbit if you feel that you are ready.
