However, these little guys are persistent in the pursuit of their 'prey', and so the next day (I only allow him 45-60 minutes per session with a chew toy) he really went for it and within minutes the toy was squeaking frantically. A few more minutes elapsed and YES, there were lumps of yellow plastic all over his bed, no more squeakies so that was the end of that toy, it had to go in the bin. This was a very expensive exercise. Its also a little on the large side for him but that's okay as it prevents him using it as a chew toy. The ridges and bumps make it easy for him to grab it and the squeeky noise is hard to produce. This is a good thing though as too much noise can make dogs go crazy and the occasional squeek keeps him on his toes. I use it as a fetch toy because when it hits the ground it bounces in random directions so always keeping the doggo thinking.The reason for the 4 stars is due to the price which is very steep for a dog toy.
