I've spent a lot of time trying to find good deck screws. I started off with Deckmate polymer coated Torx screws from Home Depot. Then the price went up and I started shopping around again and eventually found Hillman polymer coated screws at a good price on Amazon. Very slightly lighter gauge (a little weaker as a result) but similar quality.12 years after I put new boards on my deck, it's started to show sign of rot, so I started pulling boards and I was dismayed to find that the screws were badly rusted. Many of them just sheered on me.I'd previously looked for stainless steel deck screws and they were really just too expensive. Then I found some that were expensive but affordable. I bookmarked them for future reference.When the deck got too bad I went back to check my bookmark and was about buy but decided to do some more searches on Amazon. Nothing really doing but suddenly these popped up as related item.These are much cheaper, coming in at about only double the price of polymer screws rather than triple or more.These are #10 instead of #9 which is better for me.I've just started using them and I'm really pleased. Well made and good thick threads. I'm hoping that whenever I have to pull these boards again (ugh), they'll come out in decent shape and won't break off.

I experienced unexpected problems when using these and the seller contacted me and we worked through it. Determined they would not work for my application and the seller refunded the full amount even the Amazon refund window was closed. I appreciate good customer service.

Good screws but had a handful where the head broke off under torque where the screw threads started. I guess 10 out of 1750 is t too bad.

I like these screws so far. They drive in well with the attached bit. No slipping or stripping. Time will tell how well they hold up in tough conditions, but during construction they've been great to work with and initially I am pleased.

This is a much better product that I thought I'd be getting based on the low price and some of the lower starred reviews. In hindsight, many of the one and two star reviews were made by people with little to no knowledge of how drill driven screws are supposed to work. This is a great product for the money.

Purchase these stainless screws for a outdoor treaded wood project that has been painted with 3 coats of outdoor high grade paint for a projected that I am expecting to last 20 years or longer.

These screws are very well made. Excellent consistent quality. I prefer them over other brands. No criticism. Will be reordering.

Purchase to replace the top capping on our pool. The stainless steel screws were very easy to use and came with an unexpected quality 25s tourque bit for a screw gun. Not mentioned in the ad listing but very happy to get that as well as the screws. 10/10!!
