This is a review of the AOMAIS Sport II Minis. I own other models and I've become hooked on using portable Bluetooth stereo speakers in stereo -pairs-. So, when I bought these, I went for the two pack. These speakers have very clear sound, free of distortion at most volume levels. They also have reasonably good bass which isn't overly boosted to make it sound sloppy and loose. Plus, these speakers include Bluetooth version 4.2, which can yield higher sound quality if your media playback device supports it. (Most phones from the past couple of years do.)I should mention that these Minis aren't as waterproof as the larger versions, achieving only an IPX4 rating. That means this speaker is really only splash resistant. With careful placement, they would probably work fine as a shower music player. However, these Minis are not designed to be submerged and would most certainly stop working if they were submerged by accident. If you need waterproof, check out their other models. For indoor mostly dry use, a pair of Minis is great. They're cheaper and obviously, take up less space than the bigger models.These Minis use a standard micro-USB charging cable. They charge pretty quickly because the device is smaller, which means the battery is also smaller. It seems like the speakers inside the Minis didn't shrink as much as the battery did, so they sound bigger than they are. But, the tradeoff is that these little guys run about half as long on a charge as the big version. Fortunately, half as long is still 15 hours, so it will literally play all day at the beach. Pop it on the charger overnight and you're ready for another entire day of listening enjoyment.To sum it up, these sound great for their size. They sound even better when playing as a stereo pair using the TWS wireless stereo feature. I think I prefer listening to these in a stereo pair versus listening to a single unit of the larger model. Stereo imaging really adds a lot to the enjoyment. Of course, a pair of a bigger model would sound even better.I recommend these if you need decent, high-quality "real" stereo sound in an extremely compact package. They will easily fill a small to medium sized room with music and won't break the bank. The bang for the buck value of a pair of these earns them a 5-star rating in my book. I really like the 2 pack I bought.One bonus tip I can offer. The end caps included in the packing material for the Minis can work as speaker stands in a pinch to hold both Minis upright while being used in stereo mode. Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  There is no bass. The highs n mids are ok but they are usually ok on most speakers bc it's not hard to do. The bass however is a different story. Listening to podcasts and voices is ok. You do get a full sound to where voices don't sound harsh or tinny and hollow. Listening to music it's no better than getting a cheap shower speaker. There is no thump of any kind and certainly no boom. There are some connectivity issues a lot of dropped signals buffering in TWS. It's a lot better as a single speaker. Same goes for watching videos. It's better with one speaker in TWS the latency is severe. At least with 1 its tolerable.Pay attention to the kind of music being played in some of these reviews. They are not bass having songs. So if you listen to rock or polka maybe elevator music it may be ok but for rap hip hop techno dance anything with bass these don't sound good for that. 😉👍

Just received this pair of the Water-resistant Bluetooth Speakers and set them up today. I paired to each other, then to my laptop. When they work, which not very often, they sound amazing. However, when first paired, one speaker was horribly distorted. Turning it off and on seemed to fix it...temporarily. About an hour later it started happening again on BOTH speakers, though not as bad sounding. I wondered if it wasn't because I also have a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, so I removed the keyboard, to zero benefit. Cycling the Bluetooth off and on at the laptop was the next thing to try, which is intrusive and time consuming, though it worked for a few minutes each time.Eventually, I realized that every time Pandora changes from one song to the next (without exception), the sound got seriously distorted again. Pausing the audio for 5 seconds (no less would work) reset it somehow and the sound would be crystal clear until the next song came on.Also can’t seem to get through to Tech Support either. Their website refused to accept the message I attempted to send. There was a card saying I could text Customer Support but there is no indication of what number to text to. Calling the support number you just get a voicemail message, and the email I tried to send to the support address they provide in the documentation bounced back with an NDN. Seems pretty pathetic and I'm wondering if they exist any more. I'm done and sending it back.

The speakers look good. Getting them paired was a bit of a hassle, but they do connect. I hooked them up to my phone and put on XM Radio. The first thing I noticed was that this does not have "rich bass". It has "meh" bass. Overall the sound is very mediocre. Another thing that bothered me is that it does not really get that loud. The speakers also can not be too far apart or the speakers start going in and out with the signal. At about 4ft away from each other I experienced this. They have an incentive within the package that prompts you to leave a review and get a discount offer on their facebook page. I am guessing only good reviews get the prize.I would recommend these speakers for a laptop, or maybe a camping trip. I would not recommend them for daily use in a office or home. They just don't have a real kick, they are at best okay quality.
