Only used risers and stainless steel screws that came with kit. Kept original Honda top plate and screw head caps.Fit perfect, no modifications. I had previously installed similar 30mm risers on my bike and those sort of worked, but the cables were tightly stretched, and when the handle bars were fully turned sometimes it would pull on the throttle cable and cause the engine to speed up, or pull hard on the clutch and choke cables. These being 8mm shorter worked perfectly without putting excessive tension on any of the cables at full turn in either direction.
