The size 8-10 is still too big on her. She will be fine, I convinced her to keep that size so she can wear layers under it and keep wearing it over the next year or two for play, but it's definitely baggy. I would say buy the size based on your child's height and it should run true to size. Otherwise the quality is great, she loves it overall.
