Perfect moter for a small boat
Fantastic moter! I put it on a ten foot John boat, moves fairly quickly for a 4horse. i've put it through hell, still runs great!

Pull Start Snaps Back -- Danger to Hand
Major problem is that the snap back when starting the engine is likely to damage your hand.Air cleaner cover pops off every time it starts.Haven't figured out how to make the propeller turn with consistency and power.Very loud.I love that it is air cooled. Lack of shift is not a problem for me. Starts quite easily.

So far so running but the biggest downside is loud noice like a huge lawn mower next to your ears.
