This means that you can connect three wires into the same connector. You will also notice the difference in MAX OD, (Maximum outer diameter). Even though they both take 19 to 26 gauge wire, the UR2 accepts wire with a heavier/thicker insulation size. The UG connector is a different style. Meant to add a second wire onto an existing wire without cutting the first.
