first class reel for the cost...love the dual drag system....allows u to have a lighter drag for hits and snags then add more pressure by simply flipping lever at back. bigger in size than most ultra-small reels but not much heavier and well balanced. very smooth. and holds a lot more 6lb line than smaller spools so thats a plus. love this reel at 25 bucks and will get more at sale prices

Appears to be a good value out of the box. Has the look and feel of a more expensive reel. Fairly smooth operation and good fit and finish. Will update my review if the performance disappoints after a surf fishing session in a few weeks.

It's a good reel. The size is pretty decent but it over all its great. Nice big handle smooth reeling and casting. The baitrunner part is amazing. I have on a 7 foot rod. Looks just like the Shimano.

Better than expected for a low price reel. The reel has a smooth action and very good drag. I fished with the reel during a trip to the keys and caught yellowtail, mangrove, and mutton snapper and the reel performed flawlessly.

I can write about this now as i have used this reel for a season as a backup and on some trips where i didnt want to bring my high end gear. Definitely feels smooth/balanced and casts nicely but a few months of catching fish has really put a beating on the gears. You can audibly hear the difference when turning the handle now though it still can real in fish. The gears slipping periodically when the drag is set a little too tight is a problem. All in all a basic reel and great for a beater reel but not for you primary setup.

The reel is very smooth, a little heavy, but when the reel arrived at the house. I opened the box and realized that the Anti reverse lever knob doesn't work at all. The handle spins in both directions.I need to get that fixed before I can even test this reel out on a fish.

Excellent reel that is built solid easy to use.

Cannot complain about the price one bit. I'm also not going to sit here and say that I was expecting top quality merchandise.I did however get a respectable reel at a good price that seems to be well built. I have had a few instances where the live liner does not disengage quickly. I will make three or four full turns of the handle before it clicks off and kicks in the drag.

Great reel just wish it had a trigger
