Really well done bike horrible Pacific Bikes and Amazon Service
Package arrived with the bicycle axle having punctured the box and pocking out through an approx 1 1/2 inch hole on the box side.Upon opening today on my daughter"s birthday, it was revealed that the "Extras": Mongoose nylon fiber pegs and connector are missing. Calling Mongoose, (tel forward to Pacific Bikes) a big waste: " model is discontinued and no service is available."And No success from amazon either, because I bought the bike more than 4 weeks ago: "too late for service," even tough unopened.

Great bike
great bike! this price is a steal. this is the bike that the pro's ride. don't be afraid of this bike. this mongoose is not made in china like the ones from walmart this is made in Taiwan which is where most high end pro bikes are made. this line of bikes made by mongoose is owned by doral corporation which is a high end extreme sports company that also owns cannondale and GT. flip through a dans comp and you will find that any other high end complete that comes with seamless 4130 butted tubing and sealed wheels and integrated headtube will cost you in the high $700's. I have rode this bike pretty hard for 2 months and have had no problems(I'm 5'11 and 185 lbs) it holds up believe me. the stem is a bad design though and I do plan on changing it.
