Spend the extra hundred dollars and get the real one. **Q: Product description says 79 x 31 x 13 is the 13 inches for the wheel base?** A: Mine is in storage for the winter, but I believe the rail is 79" long. It will fit any motorcycle you have the strength to roll up there... 31" should be width from the trailer hitch to the outside of the rail. 13" I believe is the width of the two rails when bolted into the traveling position as shown. **Q: Does anyone attached this to tow bar behind 5th wheel? Would like to haul my 650 v storm weight 472 lbs behind 5th wheel** A: No problem! It's all about how confident you are here. It wont bend horribly. I've hauled many bikes on this, some the same weight you're saying, around 600 wet weight, and it's only bent a half inch or so. I would not hesitate to put the same 600 lb bike on and drive it twice the distance as originally caused the slight bend. This is very sturdy and will definitely handle your 650. I've hauled ninjas, cb750s, dirt bikes, gs500f. I only recommend drilling your own pin hole since the factory one is drilled about two inches from the end of the pipe but you can make your own say 5 or 6 inches in depending on your hitch depth. Will increase the structural integrity slightly. I did this immediately before ever hauling a bike and I've not had any issues. Maybe weld another piece of angle iron along the bottom to reinforce.
