Im in my early 20’s and I got this, and a few other toys/figures for myself to basically “nurture my inner child” and the toys from this company are SO COOL!!! Theyre very intricate, unique, and durable.For this toy specifically i assumed that all the tail “joins” would move but its just the stinger at the end, the base of the tail, and the claws that can rotate and move which is totally fine and wayyy more articulated then most toys out there.If you have a kid who really enjoys fantasy animals this toy and the others in this collection are AMAZING. I so wish i had these when I was growing up because even now they amaze me.

Like other reviews I purchased this to use for D&D as my group is facing a gargantuan Rok bird. As others have said also the size for this fits a gargantuan creature and the details are pretty good. The paint job it comes with is suitable although it is easily repaintable if you want something else.The only thing I didn't like was the packaging that they sent it in. It arrives in a plastic bag and gets all banged around with whatever you order. When I got it one of the wings had popped off but luckily I was able to put it back on. Also that is something else you don't realize from this listing is that the wings are completely adjustable! It's a nice feature that can give it different looks.Luckily it's very flexible plastic so it getting jostled around it's not so likely to break.Overall you can buy this as a toy or you can buy it for D&D and it will work well for larger size Bird monsters. This model is definitely way cheaper and easier to deal with than some of the printed minis for D&D of the same creature!

Very well made for my grandson he loves it

The overall figure was well sculpted. Both of the hell hounds heads look good snarling and growling. Besides the some questionable paint applications of the yellow near the tip of the ears and inside of the mouth of the hell hound heads I have no other major complaints. This figure is overall very satisfying.

First and foremost, it doesn't come in a box. it comes in a bag and a few of the pieces need to snap into place. This process is incredibly easy and requires no tools or glue, so I was so relieved.The toy is a nice size, and it's so beautiful. I'm perfectly happy with the item.It's a great company, but sometimes you pay a bit too much for a quality item. I received no compensation for my opinion here.The item came with all of the tags on it, brand new. So if you're giving it as a gift, you can tear the bag off, pop the claw and the stinger into place, and gift it right like that. Or put it in a gift bag if you want to be extra fancy.

Bought this to turn into a D&D boss miniature and it turned out better than I expected! It is on an 8” diameter (.25” thick) acrylic base with a 0.25” diameter acrylic rod holding it aloft. The base was decorated with some paint and superglue for the lava.It is similar in size to the Udaak miniature from Critical Role (pictured). There is also an unpainted Kobold for scale in both photos, showing off the impressive size of the Phoenix.I’m sure kids would love this, as this is what it is intended for, but any DMs who love big boss monsters must know that this is a great purchase!
