Very nice, eclectic knobs at good price

*by C***Z on Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2019*

I recently purchased a Mid-Century house that had some of these knobs in the kitchen. I thought they were old knobs from the 1950s. In trying to match them I found this listing and realized that the previous owner had purchased some of these knobs off Amazon and so it was an easy matter for me to buy more as these are the exact same knobs.I really think these knobs look best on "cheaper" cabinets because each knob is different and they are kind of showy. With that said, I think they look good and the workmanship seems to be fine. They appear to be hand painted. Each knob is different. There are two styles, an eight-pointed flower knob and a slightly smaller "pumpkin" knob. My package contained 7 pumpkin knobs with the rest flower knobs.A few things. All of the screws included were the same size and color, silver. The screws were 2.5 inches long and contrary to the experiences of others were not in most cases too long. In a couple of cases they were too short and I had to drill an indention in the backside of my drawer front with a one-inch spade drill in order to attach the knob. This wasn't difficult. The knobs come with what I will describe as a "cup washer" that eats up half to 3/4 inches of screw. In many cases the screw wasn't long enough to use this so I just left it off.I used the pumpkin pulls on cabinets doors that were flush against one another. Most of mine are not and I used flower pulls on them. I have included photos. Over all I am very happy with the way they turned out. I will say you should probably order more knobs than you need. For example, if you need 23 knobs you should probably go ahead and order two orders (or order one and then get another if needed) because you may have a couple of knobs that you don't like the design on. Or you may want an extra pumpkin knob or two. Three or four of my knobs are very, very dark blue, and I think those with a little more white in them look better on white cabinets. So I'm not using the super-blue knobs. I'm going to have 18-20 knobs left over but won't have any problem finding someone who will give them a home. These folks aren't going to sell just pumpkin knobs, so anyone wanting just those is going to need to buy four orders and then give the remaining knobs to a friend or resell them.I would say that the photo that is shown of this product is an excellent representation of what you will receive. The knobs in the photo might be a little more perfectly painted, but not by much. I am very happy with the way they look in my kitchen and the ones that were already in the kitchen when I bought the house seem to be holding up quite well.

Love these knobs! But DEFINITELY read the reviews before buying.

Quick version:1. These knobs are beautiful, solidly made (the ceramic part, anyway) and insanely cheap! So balance your assessment of the potential imperfections with how cheap they are. Even if you have to buy all new hardware, you are STILL saving a LOT of money.2. They are hand-painted and randomly selected so they will NOT look like the picture. If you need them to look exactly like the picture, shop for a different product instead. For example, these might have more colors than blue and white. Mine do.3. They are probably bigger than you think, though they come in very different sizes.4. You might have to replace the hardware and/or drill larger holes into your cabinets and drawers in order to install them if you're in the US. I think they are on metric so don't exactly match US standard sizes.5. I bought two packages of 25, so my pics reflect the selection of two packages. The reason I bought two was in case any were missing in one, I would have enough left over, and to have a larger selection to increase chances of having more of a certain kind if I liked it. They are so cheap I could afford to have extra (gifts when my friends admire mine). I received all 50 knobs and only one was missing hardware.More Details:My kitchen has no knobs or pulls at all, not even grooves in the doors to grab, so I needed to get knobs or pulls to keep from getting fingerprints all over the doors and drawers or pulling them out of alignment. I have an old, hodge-podge house from the 1950's with many atrocious previous-owner "remodels" before I bought it. I do not have the sleek, modern, perfect kitchen. So I do not think sleek, modern (and extremely expensive! Wow) pulls would fit. Thus I went with the hand-made knobs here. Saved a TON of money and have unique knobs to go into my quirky house. If my house is going to be a little quirky, I'll make it intentional. But beautiful knobs all the same.I can post more pics when I'm finished installing them, but for now let me throw out a few things I noticed:--there are two different screw arrangements, one that goes through a hole in the center of the knob, sticking out on both ends, and one that emerges from the back of the knob but there is no hole through the front of the ceramic part (see pics)--there are both pumpkin style and perfectly round knobs; some have patterns, some are solid, and there are more colors than only blue and white (see pics)--most of them are larger, with only a few smaller ones, but they come in various sizes (see pics with ruler)--so many reviews have talked about getting cut or clothing caught on the little thin metal ornamental pieces that I'm not even going to install them in the first place (one pic has thin metal piece separated out)

Bigger than expected, absolutely gorgeous in my kitchen

*by K***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2017*

I absolutely adore these! I am slowly remodeling the kitchen in my 109-year-old-house, which was last remodeled in the 1970's. I can't afford to replace the cabinets so I'm painting them dark brown, and I wanted something to add some visual interest and contrast, as the dark brown gives the kitchen a very serious, heavy look. I also have some old salvaged cabinets with classic hammered-copper "arrowhead" pulls, so I wanted something that would complement those without being either cliche or bland. These are exactly perfect, and I love them! They're much bigger than I was anticipating, which looks fantastic against the brown, and each knob is unique but each has at least one stylistic match so it was easy to pair them. I used the scalloped knobs in the kitchen, and still had enough to use the round ones in the bathroom. Cons: One arrived chipped, and they sit a little too close to the cabinets for my taste. I solved this problem by cutting 3/8" sections of heavy-walled aluminum tubing from the hardware store, and slipping the bolt through those before putting them on the cabinet doors, to add a bit of a "stem". I love how they look in my kitchen and bathroom, and at the price I can't even be annoyed at receiving a chipped one.
