It excels as an assistant for someone who has difficulty getting down gracefully to his/her knees, as I do. And, it also assists in getting back up. Recently I had to do some wiring on a trailer tower, and I just flipped over the kneeler and sat there, working at eye level. When I had to move flowers from one area of the yard to another, the kneeler made the task much easier on my knees and back. And, when my wife had a leg injury and could not bend her knee, I brought the kneeler into the room, and easily knelt on it while helping with her socks and shoes. ..and just as important, I had its support to get back up in a standing position without the pain and stumbling my arthritis can sometimes cause.Give me another month and I'll have found a dozen more uses for it.--It opens easily, and folds with a little pressure on the spring bars on each side - (you can see them in the online picture).
