Hah! This thing is TINY, it couldn't hope to hold even half of my hair. Pay very close attention to the stated measurement of the clip, 3.5 inches is very small. I may try to use it on my daughter, but I doubt it will even be able to hold all of her hair. It gives out a subtle shine similar to pearls/shells which I fall in love immediately.It's not for a large amount of hair, especially if you plan to twist hair or double it back. My hair is very fine. I can twist double my hair and pin with this clip- quite tight fit though.
