I do not believe it is PFD certified. However I am not sure I no longer have the product **Q: Is the Shark vest blue and aqua or blue and green?** A: The one I received was green and red as advertised. This vest is different from the one I ordered. More importantly, it works well. **Q: My 7 year old son is 44 pounds can this fits him?** A: My 4 year old daughter is 43 it fit her fine but he may be better with a life jacket type.
