High quality name brand tool
Good quality tool. Used to remove a flywheel nut, and it worked great. Definitely recommend.

A must have for Yamaha outboards.
Had a timing belt to do on a Yamaha 4.2L outboard engine. I was initially concerned this might break when loosening or tightening the flywheel bolts. To my surprise it never flexed or moved. Great tool and it's inexpensive.

Great product
Was shipped quickly. The product is well made and the paint looks to cover the whole tool. Some tools looked a little crappy, but this tool looks well put together. Already used it twice and it has helped out a ton. The spring was disconnected during shipped, but it was super easy to put back on.

351 w/ an E4OD) this thing would be useless until you got the transmission out of the way ...
Did exactly what I needed it to - hold the flywheel in place while I removed the bolts holding the wheel on, and again when re-torquing them down. You do need access to about 1/4 of the wheel though so that the tool can grab on - in my case ('94 Ford Bronco, 351 w/ an E4OD) this thing would be useless until you got the transmission out of the way first.Seems sturdy, and did it's job, but when re-torquing the bolts, I had to be very careful about making sure the tool fully engaged the teeth on the wheel, otherwise it'd slip off when trying to tighten things. Still happy with it though.

No slips - easy to use
I have a 2002 Mazda B-3000 (Ford Ranger). The clutch's slave cylinder was leaking. Since I had to pull the trans to replace it I decided to replace the clutch and flywheel as well. This necessitated holding the flywheel to loosen and torque both the flywheel bolts and the clutch pressure plate bolts. I also decided to change the timing chain cover (which was leaking); this involved pulling the harmonic balancer. Since the trans was out, I had full access to the flywheel. I just hooked up the Flywheel Turner and let the handle sit on the truck's frame (to keep it from moving). It worked great. I read reviews for some other flywheel turners and they said they slipped. This one had no slip whatsoever, even when I re-torqued the hamonic balancer bolt to 107 ft. lbs. I wasn't even touching the flywheel turner - it just grabbed as soon as the flywheel started to move. I love Lisle tools. Just looking at the tool you can tell it's well made. If I have a choice, I always buy them and have yet to be disappointed. They are always well made and work as they should!

Worth every penny
I had one of these years ago & it walked off. Since then any time I worked on something that needed the engine turned over underneath, I just struggled with a pry bar or whatever. I had a project that basically required this so I could tighten the flywheel & pressure plate bolts. No parts store has any brand of flywheel turning tool in stock. This was worth the $30 I paid & then some. I almost settled for a Mr Gasket one for $25 at a local store but they were gonna have to order as well. Finding the Lisle on here so cheap was amazing. Thanks to Amazon for the super fast shipping.
