    I'd recommend staying away from this one if you're only saving ...

We bought for my son with hopes of saving a few dollars and buying the "off-brand". The metal pipe that the handle was to fit in was slightly bent so that we had to use plyers to fit the handle in.  The wheels barely turned so we had to loosen those as well.  I jumped on it and rode it around the kitchen a time or two then did the same thing with my older son's Razor scooter.  The ScootGear one had significantly more resistance and wasn't nearly as smooth of a ride.  In the end, we returned this one and went for the name brand.  I'd recommend staying away from this one if you're only saving a few dollars.  It's probably not worth it in the end.
