The holster fits around the revolver perfectly, and has a minimal profile in a front pants pocket. The revolver stays in place until you want to retrieve it from the pocket holster, in which case you simply place your hand on the grip of the revolver, lift up, and as you do, you just tap the edge of the holster with your pinky or 2nd-to-last finger which adequately releases the holster from around the revolver. highly recommend this handgun and holster for concealed carry or defense. **Q: Will this holster work with a S&W 60-9 or 640-1 with 2-1/8" full lug barrel?** A: My .38 is a little loose in this holster.
