The set up was pretty intuitive and easy. But one we went through setting up the clock/alarm functions the settings did not hold up: i.e. in the morning, the clock did not change to a selected photo but instead defaulted to a white window. In the end, we figured it out - if you change the settings for one of the two alarms you should adjust or double check the settings for the alarm that was previously set up. In other words, a change to one alarm triggers change to the other. Alright, that's fine, we've sorted that out. Since the clock has a limited choice of preset pictures, we wanted to use our own. We tried both" USB and memory card. We have chosen high res, color-perfect images to use. We couldn't!!! This clock distorts the images: they look just absolutely awful. We experimented with images as well as photographs and none of them worked properly. Moreover, some of the images, which were in jpeg, were not even recognized by the clock. To add to the frustration, the customer service of the company is awful! It does not exist at all! We called and left a voice-mail on Tuesday.
