Knocking off one star due to the instructions indicating that that "1" is the high setting and "6" is low despite it seeming to be the reverse. Even the remote is unclear with a bar chart showing a set of lines increasing in size as you go from top to bottom. Having "high" next to the smallest bar and "low" next to the biggest one doesn't make sense. It seems that despite all instructions, only the bars are a good indicator of what is hotter/cooler ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars better than average *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2019* With severe debilitating arthritis, I wear out heating pads. I have found this one better than others I have used. There are 5 heating levels instead of the usual 3, and a wider range of operating times running 30/60/90/120 minutes. Most I have used only give two, 15/30 at best. The cover is soft and the device is thin yet decently padded and fixed in place. It doesn't shift around and you don't feel like you're resting on a bunch of wires.The only gripe I have is likely just a matter of personal preference. The wires for the control enter and exit the same end (bottom) and to me that makes it hang a little awkwardly (to me anyway).One more thing might be that the on/off switch moves back & forth. If the thing is allowed to shut off on it's own, you have to move the switch to 'off' position then thumbing it back to the 'on' position again. It just seems to me that a simple up/down in place type push button would be more convenient. Neither of these things are really "problems" and certainly not worth dropping the rating count about, considering the plus factors to me. I will likely buy one or more of these again while they are available. Too often I have bought and enjoyed items that, when the time came to replace them, the exact thing was no longer available- no longer carried or "improved." ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Not chew resistant *by T*** on Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2022* My dogs are 6 months old and chewed right through the chew resistant portion. They are a terrier and lab mix so it’s not like they are huge powerful breed. It did work good before that, on a couple 10 and 15 degree days it kept their dog house and 50-55 when it was set at 65.
