I'm a 4, and I am about to cut out the elastic waist band because it's suffocating and digs into my skin (there is a separate tie made of the same cotton material as the pants, so the elastic isn't necessary). Really wish purchasing these came with the option of choosing a size. Purchased the white and they are completely see-though so I won't be wearing them in public like I planned, but the length is perfect... hits the tops of my feet, and I'm 5'5". The bands around the ankles are not fixed, which gives you the option of wearing tied like in the photos or loose, which makes them pretty wide leg. The fabric has obviously never been washed before and the weave is really open, so I'm afraid that they might shrink even if washed in cold water.
