Original review:  Insert says when you have this set-up to your TV so that you have VOL and MUTE you are 'good to go' but what good is it without channel control, guide and info control, etc.?  I cannot get this unit to engage the set-top box at all.  Useless!Updating to 5 stars because the unit is perfect but what I needed in addition to programing the remote was *pairing it to my cable box*.  So I had to call Comcast and they walked me through a few button clicks, sent a signal (I think) and bingo, all was well.  Be sure if you only get vol/mute but no cable control with your remote that you have proper pairing to your cable box.  If only they said something about this in the literature ...

The new xfinity XR15 remotes are the absolute worst TV remote ever make and should be discontinued.  These older XR2 remotes are easier to use.  I had to run the following setup code to get them to sync with the cable box --- (981).Note:  One of the 2 remotes did not work.  The seller sent a replacement at no charge.
