It’s a cost-effective solution that can extend the life of your tools, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ New life for Old Ryobi engines *by C***K on August 15, 2016* I have two Ryobi engines (one 26cc and the other 30cc) that use this carburetor and after 6 years, they were not running well at all. Simply replacing the carburetor brought them back to life. They now run strong and start easy. While a carburetor kit probably would have done the job, the price difference (really small) to me made getting whole carburetor the better choice.One question that was asked had to do with the number of screws holding the primer bulb on. The old carb on the 30cc Ryobi had four screws while the replacement carb here only has two. The number of screws holding the primer bulb plate is really immaterial. What matters is the number of bolts that mount the carb to the motor and the air intake. As shown in the attached pictures, the original carb in on the left and the replacement is mounted to the engine. My original had 4 primer bulb plate screws while the replacement only has two and the number of bolts being 2 that mount the carb to the engine and air intake are the same. This engine runs like new with the replacement carb. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works on 2014 Ryobi RY28141 *by W***! on April 12, 2017* A friend gave me a 2014 Ryobi RY28141 (SS26. Whatever, it's just a TTI product) because he had a lot of issues with it and bought a new trimmer. Of course, the old carb struggled to start and run reliably, and it wasn't worth the time and effort to clean out a neglected carb. The direct replacement of the original carb for this model was a Walbro WT1059, which was a bit pricey. Took a shot with this one here, as it looks the same and has gaskets included. It fits without modifications (just a different color of choke lever--the original was gray). Installed it in less than 3 minutes and it works great, with great response to the throttle. No adjustment was needed on my end, though it will need it after it gets broken in.
