The terroir includes a combination of key natural features such as a humid climate, long growing season and gravely, red clay that help produced great winemaking grapes. With the expertise of winemaker Mark Friszolowski, Childress Vineyards produces more than 30 wines including classic house blends, premium varietals, a sparkling wine, dessert wines, Reserves, Signature Reserves and Muscadine wines. Childress Vineyards winemaking vision is to produce a broad range of world-class wines that appeal to both the introductory palate as well as the seasoned connoisseur. From the selection of the grapes to the care in winemaking, Childress Vineyards takes meticulous steps to bring exceptional wines to the market.
