I use it on my knives, as well as on my whetstones. I also use it with a blend of lemon oil, carnuba wax, and bees wax as a sealer of sorts on most of my buffed woods, and wood surfaces that will be I contact with foods. Make sure to use food grade oils and waxes or you could do your self, and others harm.
