UGH ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ SIM card works upon arrival but poor signal/coverage by BSNL *by L***N on October 21, 2019* The SIM card really was working upon landing in India; amazing! There were a few additional steps in the process that are not mentioned in the listing with submitting a copy of passport and a visa. Excellent customer service; they were very responsive in India with any questions/concerns. The reason I gave it 4 stars Is that at least in Kerala the BSNL signal strength is very poor, so voice calls were frequently breaking up and 3G was good only for short messaging, but barely enough for decent browsing and definitely not for internet-based calls.
