The colours are absolutely beautiful (ordered the pomegranate colour a mix of lime green and a very dark pink)! I love that is made from organic cotton so no toxic chemicals (other than those sprayed on for storage as is the case for all items including organic.. but that is easily washed out) I am a complete beginner to Yoga. When I used it for the first time (with a rug underlay) it was very slippery (as in feet and hands would slide on it) but it was more comfy on my knees than two of the cheap foam mats on top of each other they had in the studio and it was also longer which worked better for me. The next yoga session I dampened the rug with a mist sprayer. This made the rug grippy so I am very happy with it. I can live with the minor inconvenience of spraying my rug with water mist to have a yoga mat that is non toxic and comfy. The fact that it looks like an ordinary rug was also a deciding factor in ordering this as if I decide not to do Yoga anymore it can just be a rug in the house. In fact on the first day of using this rug it was also used as a throw to keep my daughter warm, a picnic rug and a makeshift bed for my daughter (she laid down on one side and used the other half of the rug as a blanket). So this rug is very versatile in many situations! i also like how lightweight and portable it is. The company is also great! I was in contact over their facebook page and they are very responsive to messages! All in all a great buy! Will try it at Pilates next week as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Yoga mat I have ever used. *by A***R on 17 May 2018* I have practiced Yoga for 8+ years now and I am currently training to be a teacher.This mat is beautifully soft, great for practicing Ashtanga as you have much more movement than using a sticky mat so its really great at the start of a class when building heat in your sun salutes. Would recommend to anyone who is aiming to build strength, as you need to use all your muscles in order to prevent slippage - wouldn't say this mat is slippy though, just much more movement.You can also wash it thoroughly! Sticky rubber mats can be so dirty and impossible to thoroughly clean!Very light too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cotton versus rubber. *by I***E on 28 July 2019* I love this mat. What a difference to the rubber mats.
