The MTI Dio PFD is designed for paddlers who's kayak has a high seat back. MTI's High Back design with mesh lower section works exceptionally well with the higher seat backs found on many recreational and sit-on-top kayaks. Compared to the MTI Solaris, the Dio rides high giving plenty of clearance above the seat. With a full center zip for easy entry, side adjustments, contoured shaped soft foam in the torso and adjustable padded shoulder straps, the Dio is easy to adjust for a perfect all-day comfortable fit. Two large stretch mesh zippered pockets provide plenty of storage for essentials, key retainer clip, hat hanger loop and generous reflective trim complete the Dio's features. I purchased 4 of these life jackets for our entire family. We use them with Ocean Kayak MalibuXL 2 person kayaks. They work great, and the back padding does not interfere with the kayak seat.
