I'm 5' 2" and the length is good. As others have said, the sizing is mainly about the length. It only fits right if the crotch lands at about your knees (the well-established funniest crotch length) and it hit him more at crotch height. Not funny. You need the low crotch to create the dumpy cat butt look from behind and it does this perfectly on me, so it's mine now! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the little grey stripey pieces on the belly are stiff and scratchy, even after washing. The rest of the suit is so, so soft that it always surprises me when I touch them and they're scratchy.
