Yes, the white is see through but it's not meant to wear by itself so not a problem in my opinion. These work well for what I bought them for...a comfortable alternative to wearing a bra under casual clothes or when you don't want bra straps showing. I've had them several months now and even tho they are fairly thin material, they wash well without damaging or stretching (even when hubby forgets to keep them out of the dryer...hey, he's helping with laundry...I'll never complain!) When I purchased these, I was 20lbs heavier than I am now. They were more snug and seemed to stay put without adjusting throughout the day. But since I lost the weight, I'm finding myself pulling them up a lot. I would say these will fit pretty snug and stay put if you are a size M-L, but if you are a S you might be tugging and pulling this thing up more than you like. Also, I wear a DDD cup and these more than adequately cover what they are supposed to. They don't lift obviously so people who are expecting support from these aren't going to find that.
