I think some of the customers with bad reviews probably received the item after it spoiled...possibly in transit if it was hot.The package said I could leave it at room temperature for a month (or in the fridge 8 months). The icing was so delicious and so creamy that I didn't want the butter to harden in the fridge. It definitely didn't hold up a month. After two weeks, I noticed it tasted a lot different...bitter salty with a chemical taste and just plain bad.( I would definitely see if customer service is willing to work with you if you receive the icing like that. That's not how it's supposed to taste and it's too expensive to receive bad product). I threw the rest out :(. I get why some people left bad reviews. My advice, after you first use the icing...put it in your fridge. It may be harder to work with, but at least it will taste good. I'm going to buy it again (cringe $), but this time I'm going to keep it in the fridge and see if that makes a difference. I'll update this review after testing my plan. That's the reason for one less star, but upon first arrival...it really was delicious. I added some to my coffee and was so grateful for the creamy texture and delicious flavoring - all things KETO and better! As a side note or maybe just another reason I’m loving this company, they shipped fast and the packaging was divine! Temperature controlled packaging so the buttercream doesn’t get too hot in transit is just another reason this company is a notch above the rest! My favorite sweetner is the lakanto powdered monkfruit/erythritol. I use it in almost everything and keep a backup at all times. I never experience a cooling effect with using it in deserts. But for some reason in this "frosting" I experience it in high sensitivity. The ingredients list specifically states that sweetner. With that being said I love my frosting but not how it's intended. I never use it as a frosting but as a very convenient way to add fat, flavor, sweetness to my coffee or hot chocolate. And it sweetens it perfectly without the cooling effect. I think because of the amount you get its worth the $20. I find myself naturally reaching for it. I am on my second tube. I just leave it out next to coffee pot.Update: though I like this problem alot it if the price keeps going up I will not be ordering it. I only use it in my coffee.
