It installs in a few minutes without any tools. The diameter of the intake tubing provided was too small to fit onto the port of my Korky fill valve. However, since the provided tubing fit snugly inside the Korky tubing, I was able to use a 1 inch piece of the Korky tubing as a connector/adapter, and install the Fluidmaster 8300. I deducted one star due the the failure to provide a proper connector.
