Do not expect these anchovies to be like the typical ones availble in most stores in the US! These are more like a sardine in texture, and have a milder flavor than the usual canned anchovies. It still had a flavor like a canned anchovy, but not as salty or stong. I could see using these in an anchovy salad sandwich (like a tuna salad sandwich).

Hi,Good news, they are fish, but they are not the delicate filet white sardines that you're thinking of. If you want a similar product to this one, just go to the supermarket and buy a can at a lower cost. Don't know why they are calling them anchovies which are a much smaller fish. Definitely misrepresented. Got fooled, will not be fooled again.

These are larger, sardine sized anchovies, not small ones you usually find. They are tasty and fresh, just not what you add to a salad.

This product was excellent in pasta puttanesca, no strong umami and salty taste as these anchovies are not brined.

Could not get one whole piece out no matter how careful I was…all small broken pieces

White anchovies aren’t as “fishy” other anchovies. I drain the can and marinate them in a vinegar garlic brine then eat them on a cracker or they are delicious on a Caesar salad

I bought these as an interesting substitute for sardines on crackers, one of my favorite snacks. I will not be buying them again. C level flavor. B- level texture. Seemed a bit overcooked and had a undertaste/undersmell akin to Vienna sausages.
