GREAT book for learning French!!
This book is a FANTASTIC way for young children to learn French. I took about 10 years of French myself in college and I wanted to teach my son, but I am VERY rusty. This book has the English translation on the left page and the French translation on the right page, which is a HUGE asset to me! The pictures are wonderfully colorful and keep my son's attention. This book is a great way for a child to learn the various rooms of a house. I plan on getting any other French/English books in this series, because I am so happy with this one!

My Son's Favorite Book!
Love this book! Very colorful. Simple to read. On the back of the book there apparently is another bilingual book by same authors , however it is not sold on Amazon:(. Because I loved this book so much, the beautiful illustrations with lots of things to point out to the child, I did purchase other English-only Stella Blackstone/Debbie Harter bear books. Unfortunately they were not as great (small board books, illustrations were not as large...)

our favorite book
This book is not only colorful and fun to read but tastes great. (At least my 8 month old thinks so). He rarely sits still to read but when I pull this book out, he squeals with delight and grabs for it. We read it over and over but I never get sick of the beautiful art work and creative touches on each page.

Cute!
A really cute book with lots to talk about on every page. Love the floor plan at the end. Maybe a difficult concept for the really little ones but that makes it interesting for a longer time. I will buy more of this series.

Great book for babies and toddlers--I love the bright saturated colors and the cat in black and white. Many things to talk about on each page without being cluttered.

Great Illustrations
My 1 year old loves the pictures and the story provides a nice set of vocabulary. The book has pretty thick pages, not too easy for a kid to tear but, not as durable as the board books.

French for my grandchild
My son and daughter-in-law requested this book.. It seems like a cute way to introduce the baby to a bit of French. The paper version might not hold up as well as a cardboard version, but the book is very colorful and contains complete sentences, which might give a better sense of language than just vocabulary. We still haven't read the book to our 2week old, so I don't know what my final recommendation will be. However, it does look promising.

Lovely book, nice bright pictures and you can read in English or French or both
I think this is a great book, my french isn't great, I've not spoken it since school so it's nice to learn it again with my little boy. The only problem is my pronounciation, I'm not sure if I am saying the words correctly and there is nowhere that I can find online with a native french person reading the story. But that aside my little boy loves turning the pages and seeing what bear is doing in the next room!Would definitely recommend :)

Excellent book for discussions with toddlers
The bright colours and interesting drawings make this a very appealing book for little people, and there's lots to discuss and point out as the bear progresses from room to room in his house. Great for introducing words relating to different rooms and talking about what we do in each room in the house.

A firm favourite!
We originally got this from the library, but my son (and I) loved it so much I had to buy it! There aren't too many words for a young child with limited concentration, and the pictures and colours are just gorgeous! You could spend ages on each page talking about everything. We have bought more from this series for my son's first birthday.
