Easy to install yourself. It does take some time for adjustments, but the built in measuring marks help. It's sturdy as can be. I use mine for many things like carrying my kayaks, wood, and ladders. It looks good on the truck too. The crossbar in the picture is the medium 60". It works great and can handle two kayaks sitting side by side without hanging off.
