Tip: Buy extra sensors at the same time. *by on Reviewed in the United States July 10, 2025* I had purchased a different security light several months ago and it was working fine. It was mounted on one of the support poles for my metal carport, aimed out toward part of the property. A few days ago it stopped working after a huge rainstorm, and it must have shorted out the dusk to dawn sensor. The sensor was integrated into the fixture so no repair. I read lots of reviews about this barn light; and after the installation I'm very pleased. One of the main reasons is that the sensor is a separate entity, and you can buy replacements. I took the suggestion from one of the reviewers and bought a 3 pack of sensors (from another company) at the same time as the light. It's sure a good thing that I did. After my handyman installed the new light, he put a towel over the sensor to test it. NOTHING. He tested the current and voltage and all was good. The sensor that came with the light was defective! And like most all of the reviewers said: This light is SUPER BRIGHT!
