After installing the battery and verifying that it is working properly, you unplug the power cord to your laptop to allow the battery to slowly discharge power down to ~6%, then you plug the power cord into your laptop to charge the battery back up to 100%. Perform this cycle 3 times and your battery should be primed and ready to go. Don't allow the battery to discharge all the way to 0%, which could cause permanent damage. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good performance, great price *by R***L on October 28, 2020* I've had this for a few months. Battery life is several hours, as it was when new.
