It's poofy and the material isn't super thin. I was happy to see it was longer than it shows in the product picture. My daughter is 3 ( I bought the size 3-4) and it went a few inches from the ground. My package seemed to have been a return because the dress was wadded up and the bag was torn. After I washed it (on delicate) the jewel on the dress came off, but nothing a little hot can't fix. The tiara and wand are dollar store quality.
