It was easy to install (*tip I used a power drill for the 3 screws). I installed it in a front corner under my cupboard and you cannot see it when you are looking at the cupboard. With my cupboards I was somewhat worried that the two longer screws would go through the bottom and would be seen and in the way of where I keep my dishes. Nope--they are not as long as I thought they were. Once installed it is very tight to the bottom of the cupboard AND it is so easy to open jars now. What used to take me about 5 minutes (pounding on the counter, hitting it at an angel with a knife, and finally hot water for minutes) now takes me about 10 seconds or less. No effort on my part. Very easy to use. Just adhere the sticky pad to the underside of your upper cabinet and then stick the opener to that. I haven't screwed it to the cabinet and it's fine.
