I am 5'7" and usually wear a 10-12 or 12-14 based on the style and cut of the clothing being purchased. I also tend to be heavy around the middle though so wasn't sure how this cute style would work on me as I tend to try and hide my tummy with boxy larger style dresses and tees. I am long legged and short torso'd so I expected this to be like a 60's style short dress for young people ( I am in my 50's) and it wasn't too bad. Above my knee/mid thigh so it will be okay as long as it isn't windy out! The medium arrived first and I tried it on. It seemed to fit well and I was going to cancel the large, but it showed it as having been shipped already. The large arrived the next day and it fit exactly the same as the Medium, only a little bit longer so I kept it as well. I think this cut of dress is flattering to many figures and really hides a belly better than I thought it would.
