Worn by the child, the cartoon animal-shaped transmitter sends a constant signal to the receiver, which is held by the adult. The signal is adjustable - from a distance of 6 to 30 feet, so when the child goes beyond the set distance, the adult's receiver starts to beep, letting them know that the child is starting to wander off. Frequencies adjust themselves automatically to alert the proper receiver if more than one adult is in the same area using the Child Guard monitoring system. The Cutting Edge of new microchips produced by SMT technology, also referred to as the IC unit, is wafer thin and performs with superb accuracy and is incredibly reliable. The IC unit is nicely hidden in a small plastic animal (looks like a toy) and can be concealed very easily under a shirt or jacket if desired. The YS-077 includes a parent receiver and, the transmitter is worn around the child's neck. The YS-088 includes a parent receiver, and the transmitter is worn around the child's wrist.

Beeps all the time.

becomes too sensitive when battery runs down
Alarm goes off even if transmitter is close but your body is in the way. The transmitter battery runs down quickly and then it starts beeping tto much.

Waste of Money
This item does not work. The sensor has to be too far away from you to make a noise and it is not loud enough.

Sub-par performance
This product failed to meet my expectations. I bought it because I assumed it would be very loud, and it was so cheap. There were no reviews for this item anywhere on the internet, so I gave it a shot. Now my loss is your gain.PROS: receiver (that's your key fob) beeps when the transmitter is outside the range of the receiver.CONS:- Range posted on the box is 3ft to 21ft. Actual range is 6 inches to 10ft.- Receiver beep is VERY quiet. There is no way I will be able to hear it in a shopping mall unless I attach it to my ear.- Design flaw: since the transmitter doesn't beep, this device does not help you locate your child; it can only tell you that your child is gone.In retrospect, I probably should have tried Mommy I'm Here Child Locator. The child's transmitter beeps at 90 decibels and your can send a beep request to the transmitter at up to 150 feet (advertised). One reviewer on [...] said it worked great at an amusement park. Only downsides are that you can't adjust the comfort zone and the parent's key fob doesn't beep.Do your research before you buy a child safety device, and definitely don't buy this one.
