very happy with these bags, they are thick and sturdy. They zip close easily and stay closed. For me, they are the perfect size and hold quite a bit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Robust but not easy to open and close

These are well made and should last well. The seem a little smaller than the thin resealable bags, but are definitely heavy duty. They are not much smaller and may genuinely be a gallon, but the difference is noticeable and I don’t think it is just the thicker plastic. They are not the easiest bags to open and close. It is a really heavy duty seal on them which will not easily come undone. It is not too easy to do up either. My teenage children find this frustrating, but I think for long life this is the way it probably needs to be. It may also ease up a bit with time. Overall happy to not be continuously throwing away falling bags - we will use them until they are worn out which should be a while! I would buy again
