It is prevents your sugar water from fermenting. So I can haul a couple 5 gallon buckets to the yard and if I don’t need it, no worries I can use it the next week. Wash time I have purchased this product (in a 100 ml size) it was in a product box with a small measuring cup. This bottle (500 ml size) was not in a product box and did not have a measuring cup.
