UPDATE *by M***. on September 26, 2016* UPDATE: The waistband is borderline uncomfortable after wearing for extended periods so I took off a star. I'm 5'7" 157 lbs and the medium is great! I was a little skeptical based on the picture (seeing them loose on the model's knees) but I had no need to worry - these are perfect. The waistband is a little snug, but at least these don't slide down while wearing them. They fit perfect everywhere else so I don't want to go up a size. I think they actually look better in person than on the model. The leggings are fairly thick- definitely thicker than tights, but if you don't wear solid colored underwear you can almost definitely see them through the back. I wore the leggings for one night and they started pilling quite badly by half way through the night. I sometimes do praise dances in leggings as well. I am a fan of the louder bright colors and they had the colors I needed. Lots to choose from. Needless to say I am a happy camper.
