But I would think that the heat would be less strong and not lasting long. I use them as ice packs so I can't speak with any knowledge of heating them. **Q: Can you order additonal stretchy sleeves as it only comes with one?** A: Not that I have found. **Q: Can you refreeze them after one use?** A: Yes you can. I've refreezed mine several times over and they stay frozen for about 15 minutes. I just had mine on a rotation. The elastic band is stretchy and the velcro holds everything in place. It fits around my swollen knee and with in 5 minutes make it numb, getting rid of any pain.
