No oily or dry skin after using. *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2017* I am addicted to this cleanser! (I would give it ten stars if I could.) I am 63, have very sensitive skin and multiple allergies and cannot use a lot of skin care products, even prestige brands (try finding an anti-aging product which does not contain grape-seed oil or almonds.) This cleanser is extremely gentle and leaves my face feeling clean but not oily or dry (no more flakes!) Maybe ten years ago I developed dandruff at the base of my eyelashes. My optometrist had me use Johnson's Baby Shampoo to clean off the crust which formed on my eyelash bases. That worked okay until I developed a reaction to the shampoo and my eyelid skin turned red and itched. Over the years I never really found something that was effective at cleaning the crust until I found this cleanser. I panic if I realize that the bottle is getting low. Last time I ordered I purchased three bottles because I do not ever want to run out. How I use: dampen skin with warm water, pump the cleanser in the palm of one hand (I use four pumps), rub hands together to get it to foam a little and apply to face, using a circular motion. Then I wet a soft washcloth with warm water and remove the residue. Result: soft, clean skin which feels wonderful! At night I follow with COUI Vitamin C 20% Serum or COUI Golden Serum. For daytime I follow with COUI Super C Serum and COUI Phytemanteau Moisturizer. I love the line of COUI Skincare! With COUI, my skincare routine has been simplified and my skin has never been better! I will say that I had to get used to the smell - it smells like vitamins or something versus that clean, perfumed smell that you get with most cleansers. That being said, I like that it doesn't have perfumes because it doesn't irritate my skin. It is easy to use and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. The first time I used it I thought the texture and application was odd, but after I got used to using it, I found it to be amazing. Since my skin is aging but not exactly dry I wasn't sure if a cleansing oil would be what I needed...but clearly it IS! I have incredibly fair and sensitive skin and typically break out with 90% of facial products. I've spent probably $500 on facial cleansers only to be disappointed. No more!First, it completely ended the dry patch of skin I had. The blemishes within 2 days were almost gone. My skin looks more radiant and feels so nice to the touch. I even think some fine lines look considerably less noticeable. My hands even feel more nourished because of how you apply it!I do not moisturize after using this because I don't think I need it. It does tingle a little right after you rinse and dry which I think is making a big difference in my skin. This is a product I won't live without.
