The item would have been perfect had it been the right size
Didn't realize these were UK sizes, and the company didn't help by using the term "Pertemba USA" which led me to believe this would be American sized. Further, the item shipped from the UK which doesn't allow for tracking. The item would have been perfect had it been the right size; they should have been more up front with the origins of this product.ADDENDUM: I wanted to add that, after several weeks of searching, I was finally able to procure these pants from other vendors; during that search, I had discovered a few important things that I think an American buyer should know.Firstly, the brand HEROCK, is sourced from a manufacturer in Belgium. All the English speaking web sites that resell their products seem to be distributors in the UK. If a buyer is in north America, their only retail representation appears to be Canadian. Additionally, I'm a US sized 40 and have been buying and wearing American size 40 for a great number of years so I'm pretty certain of my size accuracy. Now, according to HEROCK's own sizing labels, their UK size 50 'should' translate into my American 40 requirements. But after reading previous amazon comments that their sizing was way too small, I decided to hedge my bets. Thus, I purchased two sets in size 52 (from a source in Belgium), and another two sets in size 56 (off a seller on Ebay). According to HEROCK, these should have translated to US 42" and 46" waist sizes respectively. When I finally got them, the UK 52's barely fit; I had to suck in my gut as they felt like an American 38 waist. The size 56's however, were comfortably loose, like the equivalent of an American size 41 waist. Therefore, I would suggest that anyone buying these HEROCK branded Dagan work pants, to just add an additional 4 inches to their order size. In other words, My American size 40" waist needs to order HEROCK's translated size 44" (ie, their UK 54).That said, these Dagan pants are exceptionally functional. The material they're made from is tough but also lightweight and thin, which makes wearing them less cumbersome than compared to other types of work clothing. Additionally, the knee pad accessory insert pockets are top (not bottom) accessed, allowing the additional option of use as a regular pocket. The knee area also is reinforced with a different slightly denser woven material. Inside the waist band, there is also an internal sizing adjuster; an elastic button down pull system that cinches the waist diameter so that a slightly larger size can fit more snuggly. I personally found that with this feature employed, their UK size 56 thus fit my American 40 very comfortably. Some minor complaints; I noticed that their finalizing controls aren't what I'm used to. They don't seem to use heat sealing on their stitching so that the ends don't unravel over time. And there's a lot of loose and remnant thread ends all over the place. Also, considering that these are supposed to be hardy utilitarian work pants, I found the tiny belt loops (except for the overly large one in the back bearing their logo) all a bit flimsy; they should consider making them a lot wider.

Don't trust the conversion EU to US chart.
The European to US conversion chart is inaccurate, about two-three sizes too small from what the chart indicates. A size 52 EU is supposed to fit a size 42 US but seems to be more like a size 38. They do except returns but I decided to just donate the pants instead of returning them since I'd already removed the tags and washed them.Other than the size differences the pants appear to be very good quality and well designed.

love these jeans
love these jeans .Bought them thinking when crawling under a house the floppy pockets might hold things better ,yet to try that out .Put dense foam in knee pockets - oh this is nice . It has been a welcome surprise to have that soft surface under my knees several times already .the size i got fit me very well . worked in the rain today and these jeans were way better then my standard cotton ones . Very impressed .had them now for several months ,they seem to stick to me when i swet .makes it tuff to get up and down or lift my knees. not sure but maybe just not enough leg room . i noticed other brands like these fit looser and will try one of them . they are tuff . holding up well

quality material
Trousers appear well-made with quality material. Still trying to figure out how to use the outside pockets attached to the front. I bought the knee pads made for these trousers also. Those fit properly and work, but are somewhat flimsy. Also, since the pads fit inside, they do not protect the pants. The only qualm I have with the trousers was the shipping time. I think the pants are shipped from Belgium and it takes forever to get here. Seems that if this company is selling these products in the USA they would have a distribution station here.

Premium durable clothing, not as expensive as most!
Premium durable clothing. Crotch was a tad smaller than anticipated, but getting a bigger waist made a difference. Some of the best multipurpose workpants that I have ever bought. Thick and tough. I will purchase another pair again.

Great pants. So well and thoughtfully made
Great pants. So well and thoughtfully made. Fit perfectly. As a construction foreman I really treat them roughly. This is not my first pair over the years. Highly recommend them.

Best pants ever
Best pants ever. I'm a tradesman and have been wearing Carrharts for years. They've got nothing on these. I wear them every day. Good for work, motorcycling, even skiing (because they dry quickly). I've turned all my friends and family on to them. Just make sure you buy 10 sizes bigger than your normal American size. American 32 equals European 42.
