Mafia Auto Tag Tin Sign 12 x 6in

I grew up in Chicago with a family history that I was generations removed from but still embarrassed by. People would make jokes and it would really get to me. One day I was in traffic court and it went so far as the judge making a really snide and rude comment (apparently my family history preceded me) and the woman next to me saw how upset I had become. She was an older woman. She caught up to me afterwards and told me some stories about her past and how my family history was something I should embrace, if I couldn't bring myself to be proud of, and laugh at the jokes instead of hanging my head in shame. After all, I myself never did anything wrong. So over the years I learned to roll with the punches, smile at the stories of my grandfather, and make jokes about what once embarrassed me. We all cope in our own ways right? So long story short when I saw this I had to get it. I was surprised at the quality. It's an actual quality plate like you get from the state so I put it on my car (I moved to Florida and they don't require front plates here so I can get away with it. Back home I wouldn't have been able to do this.) I've gotten many compliments and people asking where they can get one. It's nice to see the lighter side of this rather than the dark insults and rude remarks. Love this product.

for my best friend and mafia freak...this was a great gag gift for christmas. She loved it very much. The metal is a little thin but for a novitly plate, I think it's perfectly fine.
